Q. When does Winter Ban start?

A: Winter ban is from November 15th to April 1st. There is no overnight parking on the streets of Clinton from 11pm to 7am for more than 1 hour. Vehicles parked will be cited $25.00. Vehicles impeding snow removal will be towed at the owners expense.

Q. Who should I call to see if there is no school because of snow?

A. People commonly call the Clinton Police to see if there is school. Please call the school department, listen to the radio or watch TV. Usually during a snowstorm the dispatch center is already overburdened with calls due to the storm. DO NOT CALL 911

Q. What is the dog officers number?

A. Any non-emergency animal related issues (leash law etc.) call the Dog Officer @ 978-368-7947.

Q. Can I pay a parking ticket at the police station?

A. The police station cannot accept money for parking tickets. The fine should mailed to P.O, Box 766 Clinton Ma. 01510

Q. Where can I pay a motor vehicle citation?

A. You should follow the instructions on the back of the envelope given with the citation. You can pay directly at the registry of motor vehicles web site by clicking here.

Q. I'm involved in an accident, what should I do?

A. Both operators are required to provide information including license and registration. The police should be called for any serious accident, accident involving personal injury or problems with the operator such as not having the correct information, possible OUI, etc. All accident involving personal injury or over $1000 total damage are required to file an accident report with the town police department where the accident occurred and the registry of motor vehicle.
